However, if someone asks you what you think is important to the role of a teacher, you would probably be able to give an answer without too much delay. There is something about a discussion of our own identity that puts pressure on each of us - perhaps for fear of revealing something personal that is then open to be judged by others: I am my own identity; I own my teacher identity.
